Our Travel Plans

--In June we had a villa in Spain. We took Spanish language classes.

--We lived in a tent in Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho, Oregon, and California in July and August.

--H. did hard physical labor in Haiti in September, rebuilding schools.

--In October we traveled across the Pacific Ocean (San Francisco to Sydney) on a cruiseship.

--In November I volunteered in a Cambodian orphanage for a few weeks before running into trouble and jumping ship for Bangkok and, later, Singapore.

--We spent December on a cruiseship between Singapore and Mauritius (via Sri Lanka and other beautiful Indian Ocean islands)

--Then we spent 10 days in Dubai, followed by Christmas and most of January in Norway

--February consisted of two weeks in Puerto Rico and the West Indies, then two weeks in Las Vegas.

--We divided March between the Southwest USA and England.

--Then we mooched off of our friends and family in Denmark and Spain...trying to avoid negative numbers in our bank account during our last weeks (and days) of unemployment.

--On May 2, 2011 you'll find me in my office. Our year of traveling over.
